This is just an absurdly short post because I’m trying to finish my next book. As I was procrastinating (like writers do), I was struck by how much snark and opinion in news stories is contained in adjectives. The particular story that started my mind down this path was a story on the Supreme Court that referenced “radical” justices Sotomayor and Ketanji-Brown. That article was from a conservative site of course, but read any news story and try to mentally discount all the adjectives.
Trying that made me think, “That’s a good job for AI!” If I can now get AI to read me a news article instead of my having to read it, why can’t I get a browser plug-in that deletes all the adjectives from any story? Can you get right on that ChatGPT and Grok?
